(More customer reviews)I have been attempting to configure & reconfigure this product over the summer. Plantronics support [sic] has been less than helpful -- insisting that I had jacks on the base of thid unit that truely do *not* exist. I have bought 4 different phones from four different manufacturers (ATT, VTECH, Uniden, and Panasonic). All of the phones are DECT 6.0, and all should supposdly work with the Suprplus Haedset.
According to the product literature, there is a process that requires registering this headset (wirelessly) with a DECT- compliant phone. All of the phones I tested completely lacked even the ability to do this cross-product registration.
On the Plantronics web site, there is a compatibility chart that purportedly shows which phone systems this headset is compatible with. Besides, being slow, sometimes broken, & difficult to understand - I have yet to find a phone that the Plantronics headset *is* compatible with -- although it claims to be compatible with most.
I have a PHD in EE, & in my time I have tested many new technologies. I don't recall one though, that is as badly marketed, supported, and engineered as this, basically, piece of junk. If, by some miracle you have managed to get this to work, please drop me a line. Maybe I'll be able to remove this thing from doorstop ststus aferall.
