(More customer reviews)I got fooled by the Sony brand name, thinking this coordless phone would be about the same quality of my Sony TV. Well, it wasn't. It lasted about a month before it just stopped. I replaced it with another brand that cost half the price, and it works just fine . . . threw the Sony in the garbage.
I don't think that Sony even makes these anymore - for good reason!

With its large, easy-to-read numbers, light-hearted color scheme, and fun and functional walkie-talkie feature, the Sony SPP-S2730 2.4 GHz DSS expandable phone system is an ideal choice for any busy household. The corded base unit houses a handy volume-adjustable speakerphone, and the cordless handset (one included) accesses many convenient call features.
The SPP-S2730 system supports caller ID with call waiting (requires paid subscription through your local phone company). A convenient one-touch Jog Dial on the base and handset provide easy access to 70 saved caller ID names and numbers and to an additional 100-number phone directory. Call information is clearly displayed on a three-line backlit LCD, which is found on both the base unit and on each cordless handset.
The SPP-S2730 system can expand to include up to four cordless handsets (model SPP-H273) plus the corded base handset. Additional cordless handset features include an integrated belt clip and headset jack for hands-free operation, lighted keypad, and memory match ringer.
