(More customer reviews)These are the reasons I didn't give this phone five stars across the board. 1) I don't believe the key pad is going to last very long. All of the numbers are together on one smooth panel with only narrow seams separating them horizontaly. Had each number been it's own separate raised key, I'd like it much better and think it would last for years. 2) The key pad is not lit. 3) I've turned the ringers off on each phone. I expected that that would make the base silent as well. Either it doesn't have this abiltiy, or I haven't figured out how to do it yet. This I find quite annoying and wonder what the point of having the option on the hand sets is. Other that these issues, I'm delighted! It's cool looking and the sound quality is fantastic. No interference with other electronics. It's slim design is a real space saver in my tiny apartment. I think it holds only 30 phone numbers, so that could be increased. All and all, I like it. And... the company I ordered it from is Beach Camera and they are just great to deal with. Their price couldn't be beat and I got it the next day even though I paid for regular shipping. I wasn't able to figure out how to operate their rating site.
