Bought it to replace a 5 unit Motorola system that was having issues with buttons not working and batteries not holding a charge. It was 5 years old too. The only thing that the AT&T system could have is a keypad on the base station, but that is trivial. The clarity is superb in our 2 level house. You can listen to the answering system from any of the phones. not just the base station. You can input numbers into the phonebook from any of the phones. It is stored in the base unit allowing any of the handsets to access the numbers. These were all things the Motorola unit couldn't do, so I'm really impressed. I'll add more to this review in months to come.
