(More customer reviews)Try to find a corded phone is difficult these days. I actually found the Plantronics / Walker W1000 phone at WalMart in Rice Lake, WI (715-234-6990) for $34.88. Brought it home, plugged it in and tried it out. Seems to work great. This version of the product is documented as offering up to 26dB amplification. Elsewhere on amazon i found the W1000 with 33dB amplification, so perhaps I purchased a 'remaindered' version. I could not find the W1000 on the WalMart website.
