I have a large family in 2 story house with tile floor, the shouting gets old when calling the kids for dinner or whatever else. This is a cordless phone system with a walkie talkie option to call one phone or all and make your announcement. I've had no reception issues and the sound is clear.
Pros
-easy to use
-easy set up
-sounds good
-no reception issues (in 1830 2 story sq. ft home)
Cons:
-cant name each handset (they are assigned a number)
-base does not have speaker phone (each handset does)
-no alert tone
-wish volume was a little higher
-limited to 5 handsets
