I always keep a spare set in my refrigerator, so that I can replace a worn out battery immediately. These batteries are excellent, at least so far, and last the amount of time that they should when one is talking on the phonePanasonic GigaRange KX-TG5576M 5.8 GHz DSS Expandable Cordless Phone with Answering System and Color LCD on Handset (Metallic Grey). I bought extra batteries for all of my cordless phones when I bought the phones, themselves. Be prepared!!!
