(More customer reviews)Nothing in the manual tells you how to de-register an old 2300 from the base so that you can replace it with a new one. Simply remove the battery from the old handset and wait a few minutes. The base loses contact with the old handset and you can then register the new one by placing it in the base as described in the manual.
