(More customer reviews)I have used GE 2.4GHz cordless telephone and Panasonic 5.8GHz cordless phone before I got this one. Both of them have problems: short life batteries and short lasting batteries when they are used several months. The problems interrupted my phone call many times, so I had to buy new batteries. The ridiculous thing is that the batteries are more expensive than telephone itself. Therefore, I decided to buy a new one. I bought the American Telecom E30025CL four headsets cordless phone which I think it is not famous brand telephone in the spring of last year. To my surprise, they have very good quality. They would let me talk with a range of maybe 700 feet outside of my house with the front door closed, without sound degradation. And the battery life is awesome. Based on my experience, after fully charged it can work 10 hours of talk time and several days of standby. Even after one and half year, the batteries still work well. Furthermore, the answering machine is pretty good, providing big enough capacity to save messages. The body of the headset is black and silver. It is so light that you can hold it as long as you can. I like the "talk speaker" function which means hands free. It makes me do other things when I am talking through the phone.
Now the four headsets stand in my four rooms. I think this purchase is good deal and they are good telephones.
