(More customer reviews)This phone was purchased as a desk phone for a home office in order to use my cell phone with a standard handset as well as to have a corded phone for use during power outages (this phone has a battery backup for when A/C is not available; normally it does need to be plugged in, however.) The phone looks nice but is made of your standard fare plastic, so it may not look right on a high-end desk. However, the phone does seem to work very well on both land lines and using the bluetooth connection feature. I was able to pair with my Motorola Droid in seconds and have used it several times.
The only complaint that I have is a nit-pick, but the coiled cord between the handset itself and the base is very short; with the plastic phone being fairly light it can easily pull off the desk. Luckily a handset cord is available very cheap and available at many different stores.
