(More customer reviews)When the power goes out, this telephone still works (assuming you have a landline).
All of the other telephones in my house are cordless and they stop working during a power outage.
This one still rings but the little baby attachment won't work without power.
The instruction booklet is very complicated but aren't they all?
Overall, I wouldn't be without it. (By the way, buy a flashlight so you can locate the telephone in the dark.)
