The statements made by Barclay Enterprises about their keypads are false. The membrane contacts are made with conductive carbon paint that easily scrape off, not a "Super-thin, but super-durable, polycarbonate substrate" Plus it still relies on the known defective original keypad! If that keypad fails, so does their membrane. Quote: "Superior to so-called 'improved' keypads that rely on the same bad conductive material used in your original defective keypad!" The conductive material is NOT and WAS not the problem. It is the SIZE of that material that is important. Every other keypad you have ever owned worked correctly for years because the rubber keypad was designed properly. It's that simple. They can sell a patch repair kit for a defective part if they want, but claiming it is superior to a properly designed replacement part is just wrong.
