(More customer reviews)This product does work pretty well for linking your cell phone to a regular land line phone. The only "quirky" thing about it is that it takes a while to establish the call either incoming or outgoing. For outgoing it isn't really a problem, but incoming is a little annoying. When I answer a call it can take a good 3-4 seconds for the talk path to be established. This is probably not so much a problem with the Xlink as it is just the way bluetooth works. I have gotten used to waiting a while before I try to say 'hello'.
What really bugs me about this device is that one of the reasons I bought it was to be able to link it with Skype, but their software does not work with Windows 7 64 bit yet. And their website does not have information about what software version they have for download and when it was updated and what begs were fixed etc. I have called them about this issue, and was actually able to speak to a person. The person I spoke with said they are working on this issue, but I was not given a release date for new software.
That being said, I am satisfied with being able to link my cell phone and my wife's to the Xlink and be able to place and receive calls on our house phone.
