(More customer reviews)The neckloop is powered and amplified so it is plenty loud. However, the coupling is weak. I notice I got better coupling when up directly next to my hearing aids rather than around my next. The dial for turning up the volume and turning it off works like a charm. Could not ask for better. There is a microphone on the neckloop but I have never got it to work. The quick disconnect is nice to have, but it is a little hard to pull apart. The line is plenty long, no problems with that. The wiring seems strong too. The neckloop is not light because of the amp, dial, etc.. but it is comfortable to wear. There is a green light on the front to indicate its on, that's a nice feature. I do not have to guess if its on. The light will flash red too, if the battery is dying. That is very helpful since the batteries are not easy to access. The door that encloses the compartment where the batteries are is secured on with a screw.
