(More customer reviews)Having been hearing impaired since childhood, I'm glad that technology has finally acknowledged the needs of the hearing impaired. The amplified phones of the past don't hold a candle to the Clarity C4210. After carefully reading the manual, I found that all the problems mentioned in the previous reviews are addressed... if only people would take the time to understand this phone's functions.
The phone *IS* easy to use, easy to program, interfaces well with my phone service's voice mail system (which is nice since this phone does not have a built-in answering machine). The phone flashes when I either have missed a call or have a voice message waiting. Great feature since my old phone's built in digital answering machine sounded horrible. It stores a whopping 50 numbers in its phone directory. And, most importantly, provides ample amplification, up to 50 dB, of the high frequencies needed to clearly understand speech. I highly recommend this phone.
