(More customer reviews)We'd owned our old answering machine/cordless phone for ten years or so, and it was becoming difficult to hear what people were saying (even others who used our phone commented upon this). All I expected was to be able to replace what we had with something new. For about what we paid for the old one, we now have three phones around the house (plus a corded phone). The base has a 50-number directory which is easy to program and search. The sound quality is fine. The operable distance is greater than our previous phone (goes to the edges of our city lot). We're REALLY happy with this 3-phone system.
