This item did not meet the standards I was expecting. I usually switch to another phone rather than talk on this one as it does not have good quality reception. I would not buy another one or recommend it.

This Uniden DCX 770 accessory handset is designed to fit seamlessly into your existing Uniden DMX 700 or DCT 600 series phone system. Built with the same stylish black and silver styling as your base station and operating on the same 2.4 GHz frequency with digital technology, the DCX 770 offers the features you've come to rely on.
Handset features vary depending on the specifications of your base system but generally include support for caller ID/call waiting (requires subscription through your phone company) with a 100-name-and-number memory that's shared with the programmable phonebook; a large backlit LCD displaying date/time, calendar, selectable pictures, and screen colors; room/baby monitoring; and two-way radio function between handsets (using DirectLink mode).
Additional features include speakerphone, text messaging between handsets, call transfer, memory transfer, mute, hold, last 10-number redial, and volume control. The DCX 770 comes with a belt clip for hands-free use with a headset (not included).
