(More customer reviews)I was surprised that the sound of this thing wasn't any better than it is. Also the radio isn't able to pick up a radio signal very far away. I kept it because I needed a job site radio and didn't have the time to send it back. The good things about it are that the compartment that houses the iPod seems secure from construction debris. The housing could probably take a hit from a 2 X 4 without breaking.
