(More customer reviews)I have four 850i phones and the base unit. These are really well made phones, with fantastic range (I have the base unit in a utility closet in the basement, and have never had a drop out even 3 floors up, outside, etc.)
I got rid of my much larger Talkswitch office phone that needed a wireless headset for convenience (making it take up 1/4 of my desk!) for one of these and I am happy I did so.
There are only a couple of caveats: (1) Talkswitch ships these with very old firmware - you will want to update the firmware immediately or else you will get strange problems (firmware update is easy - its in the tools menu under system on each handset); (2) the speakerphone is horrible (I think it may not even handle duplex) as it simply does not pick up your voice when others are talking - not usable at all for conference calls for example (the sound out of the speakerphone is good, but the microphone/pickup appears to be the issue).
