(More customer reviews)This item is for the "Siemens Gigaset A49 Digital Cordless Phone with Digital Answering Machine", but when I ordered it, what I actually got is the "A49H" which is an "expansion handset for gigaset cordless phone." Which means that without that existing gigaset base station, this item is useless. There is nowhere to plug in the phone line cable, for instance. The item description has the wrong reference (A49 instead of A49H) and describes the thing as a stand alone phone, which it is not.
