(More customer reviews)We had an old phone with talking caller ID thay finally died (Not a Panasonic) so we wanted another one that did.
When someone would call, it would anounce the callers Phone Number.
This new Panasonic doesn't. It only will display it on the phone.
It will anounce a name IF you have it programmed into the phone but never a phone number.
I called Panasonic and was told by their Tech Dept that None of the Panasonic phones will anounce the phone number.
OF COURSE>> I wasn't told the truth at first.
They first said that it was the Phone Companys Problem (B.S.), Then they said that the number had to be programmed into the phone(B.S.), On the 3rd call they finally admitted that none of the Panasonic phones would anounce a phone number.
We still like the phone and it sounds and works fine anywhere on our two acre lot so we are going to keep it to avoid the hassle of sending it back.
I just think that Panasonic should say:"Talking Caller ID will only anounce NAMES that you have programmed into the phone and WILL NEVER anounce the Phone Number of Any Incomming Call".
