(More customer reviews)I did a bit of research before purchasing this phone. The VTech seemed to have the most features and feel the most rugged out of all the many phones I read about and/or tested. The most important features to me, mainly the phone's range and audio quality and clarity are superb. The 'gz2334' also gives you a choice of a few very cool music ring tones AND several conventional phone ring tones, or no sound at all. The 'no sound' feature for the phone itself is fantastic, since you can keep the phone near you (such as on a night stand near your bed) and not be startled when the phone rings. You will hear the base unit ring, but not the phone if you choose. There is also a very cool sequence of blinking lights on the phone, which encompasses the number keypad and the 'ringer light' on top of the phone. This is very neat to behold, and even serves a utilitarian function when you want to SEE the phone ring, rather than HEAR it, or both. The extra 'light show' makes the phone more visible in that regard. The unit also features a nice, large display window for caller I.D., volume bars, time, date, and other functions. There is also a neat graphic of a charging bull running across the display window when charging... get it?... CHARGING! Ergonomically, the phone also feels right in your hand, and it is just the right size- not too big or too small. At this price point, this is the best cordless phone out there, and a veritable STEAL! Fantastic job VTech!!!
