Plugged each phone base into wall power and charged phones overnight (7+ hours recommended), then attached phone cord to base station and all phones worked immediately. Haven't got into the advanced features yet, but so far so good. For incoming calls, all phones ring and I can pick the nearest one up and talk ... same for outgoing calls.
BTW, I'm using this system connected to an older PC with Windows XP running Skype, Skypemate, and a USB phone adapter.
