When not using it with my phone, I found this to work great on the airplane when using the 3.5mm adapter. Traveling can be a challenge when packing a phone and iPod and trying to use everything when on the road. What I liked was the in-the-ear fit when in the airplane and connected to the seat audio system. It blocked out a lot of outside noise and made it easy and comfortable to hear the movie audio. I highly recommend.
