(More customer reviews)This is a decent phone and does what you'd expect. Note: Caller ID requires 3 AA batteries, which isn't mentioned in Amazon's product description.
Pros:
- No AC adapter is needed, so the phone (and caller ID) continues working during power outages.
- The price is right.
Cons:
- If you hang the phone vertically on a wall, the handset is somewhat sensitive. (Make sure to reverse the hook, or it won't work at all!)
- The caller ID LCD display is not backlit.
Despite the cons, the price ($13 at this time) outweigh the cons; so overall I'm satisfied with this phone.
