(More customer reviews)These handsets look nice, but have two very extrememly annoying flaws. One I see has already been mentioned, the phones do indeed mysteriously put callers on hold or disconnect them altogether, usually when another line rings in. The other problem is the ear-splitting BEEP!! when you are on the phone and another call comes in. It is so loud that, not only do I wince, but on occasion the person I'm talking to has said "Ow!! What was that?" If you turn down the ringer volume so that the beep is softer, you barely can here the ringer any longer. Even when on low ringer, the "holds" and "hangups" continue. Now two of our three handsets have died after about 16 months in service. I'm looking at Motorola phones now to replace our whole system. I'm sick of the these pain-in-the-neck phones and I want to keep my hearing!
