(More customer reviews)I have just received this and got it set up. The quick-guide should be enough for anyone to get the phone set up. Plug in the phone cord, plug in the power cord, connect the rechargable batteries in the handset, and you're good to go.
One thing that did puzzle me; when you set the time and date on one handset, this is synchronized between all the handsets (handy). However, phone book entries are *not* synchronized between the handsets, so you'll end up having to enter all your phone numbers on each handset, which is a drag if you have a lot of entries. I can see pros and cons to having it this way, esp. if you assign a handset to specific family members, which will let them have their own numbers programmed. I cannot find a menu option to force the synch either.
Also, the phonebook is limited to 30 entries (per handset).
I also like how you can assign ring-tones to entries in the phone book, so that when that person calls you, you get the assigned ring tone rather than the one you set by default.
