When I looked at the box it was virtually impossible to tell that I'd not only have to replace the battery cover (which the box does mention) but that you need to plug in an external charging dongle that's attached to the new back cover.
It makes for an awkward replacement case because of the protruding plug.
Some people may not mind that there's this plug extending out of the side of their Droid X - however I cannot imagine using the device this way. In a short amount of time I found that the protruding power plug made holding my Droid X uncomfortable since the plug jammed into my hands. If you carry your phone in a pocket this is one more thing to snag on your clothes.
I love the concept of the Powermat because I often use my devices just before bed and not having to struggle to find a charging cable and plug the device in is very convenient. With Powermat you simply place the device on the included power pad and the charging automatically begins. Unfortunately in my opinion the charging backs are not designed very well on these new models.
I returned mine almost immediately. I consider the box packaging to be deceptive and think Powemat is going to have a pretty high percent of returns on this.
