I purchased this phone as a part of a package of 4 phones for my small business. The primary reason for purchasing this specific phone was that it was the only VOIP phone I could find that included a cordless handset. We wanted to use the cordless handset in our warehouse area.

The base phone works okay, but the back light on the LCD is extremely dim and after reading through the entire manual I could find no setting that allows you to increase the brightness. It is readable in full light or in total darkness but in low light situations it is difficult to read. The digital interface on the phone is a little clunky and difficult to use but I eventually got used to it. The one good thing I can say is that the audio quality on the phone seems to be decent, but I have other phones that are 1/3 the price of this one that sound just as good.
My biggest complaint is in regards to the wireless handset, it is pretty much totally worthless. Here is my list of complaints about it.
-Battery Life is terrible, if we don't put the phone back in the charger after every call then the phone won't even last a full work day.
-No Backlight on the display. Low light use is impossible with this phone.
-Range is very short. We only have a 3000 square foot warehouse and unless we keep the base station in the middle of our warehouse we can't use it. My home phone that I paid $60 for gets about 20 times the range and battery life and it has a backlight.
-Audio quality is poor. We get frequent distortion in the handset and people often complain that they are unable to understand us when we use it.
-Fragile. This phone does not seem very rugged at all. Though it hasn't broken yet, you can tell that a very small drop would pretty much destroy the thing.
Over all, if I had spent $80 on this phone I might be okay with its lack of features and quality, but for what we spent, I feel it should have been significantly better than what we got.
