(More customer reviews)This phone system is described as a digital answering machine numerous times throughout the title and description as well as ON THE BOX of the item itself, where is describes itself on a sticker that it is a "Cordless Phone Answering Machine" on the top; however this phone DOES NOT INCLUDE ANY FORM OF ANSWERING DEVICE and is completely limited to having a hotkey that is usable for 3rd party voicemail. Also, the phones do not use a typical telephone rechargable long length battery, but instead come with a pack of cheap rechargable AAA size batteries which drain when the phone is off the hook in 8 to 10 hours.
