I guess I'm going to try the other ones that look exactly like the batteries in the phone (I don't remember them being available a week ago when I ordered these): Panasonic NiMH AAA Rechargeable Battery for Cordless Phones (HHR-4DPA/2B)
My phone model is: Panasonic KX-TGA820B
In any case, I'm going to see if after charging for a while, they work (if they do I'll update my review), but I have a feeling this is no good--usually the phone turns on in the charger. :(
UPDATE (30 minutes later): I figured out the issue. The plastic cover on the (-) side of the batteries sticks out too much, so contact wasn't being made. I took a pocket knife and trimmed it slightly--hopefully that doesn't damage the integrity of the battery. In any case, I'm going to make this review 3 stars--and cancel my other order.
