(More customer reviews)I have checked the manual to see if there was something I could do to improve the range of the handset. Their suggestion was to move the base unit elsewhere. Its a answering machine and phone charger I don't want it elsewhere. I have had other cordless phones in the same location with no problems. I threw away the extra handset because it was of no use. The range I get is, in the same room or maybe up to 30 feet away. Vtech has lost me as a customer forever.
